The following documents are required to initiate your Dubai Mainland company incorporation. All documents are submitted electronically — no originals or in-person attendance needed at this stage.
Passport copy (clear, full colour scan)
Last UAE visa or Dubai immigration entry stamp (if applicable)
Passport-size photograph — white background
Contact details — phone number and email address
Proposed company name(s) — minimum two options recommended
How the Process Works
Your Dubai Mainland company is incorporated before the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) through our local representative. The entire process is handled remotely via a notarised Power of Attorney.
1
Submit Documents & Company Name
Provide your passport copy, photograph, contact details and proposed company names. Our team reviews and initiates the DET name reservation process.
2
Sign the Power of Attorney
To avoid travelling to Dubai at the incorporation stage, you sign a notarised Power of Attorney online via a public notary. This authorises our local representative to complete all Mainland licensing formalities on your behalf.
3
DET Licensing & Incorporation
Our representative completes the trade licence formalities before the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). The company is incorporated within 5 business days.
4
Company Number & Tax Number Issued
Upon incorporation you receive your company number and subsequently a tax number. Once both are in hand, you are ready to commence trading operations.
5
Residence Visa & Biometrics (if applicable)
If you require UAE residency, you will need to travel to the UAE at a later stage for the residence visa application and biometric procedures. Our team assists throughout this process.
Power of Attorney — Online Notarisation
The POA signature is validated online by a public notary, eliminating the need for you to be physically present in Dubai at any stage of the incorporation. MariCorp also provides manager services should you require a local manager for the company.
